Warrior Week is a camp for boys in grades 2-5. Our goal is to teach these boys what it looks like to be a Warrior for Christ, while giving them the best week of their summer!

catchin’ fish, climbin’ walls, capturin’ the flag, dodgin’ balls, playin’ in the dirt, blobbin’, water slidin’, eatin’ good food, shootin’ targets, launchin’ water balloons, playin’ with some buds, and studyin’ God’s word…

pretty much as good as it gets!

FORMS & STUFF

DIRECTORS

Phil Collins and Joey Williams took over as directors of Warrior Week in 2018. They’ve been buds for life, growing up playing sports and building forts together. Now, they are still playing games at camp!

Phil and Joey are married to the Girls Getaway directors (Courtney and Megan). Phil has four kids and Joey has three. Both are in leadership at Connection Point Church in Wylie, TX.

God has given both Phil and Joey a passion to build into the young men who attend Warrior Week and help encourage the next generation to be Dangerous For Good!

 FAQs

  • On Monday morning the week of camp we will meet at Gateway Community Church (Wylie, TX) and depart for camp at Disciples Crossing in Athens, TX on chartered buses. Girls Getaway (girls camp) will be departing for their location at the same time. We will return to Chase Oaks – Woodbridge on Friday afternoon around 4-5pm.

  • We can work with you to accommodate for most dietary restrictions. Just make a note of the issues when you register and we’ll take care of the rest!

  • Our bunk rooms are separated by grade. So if your friend is in the same grade and you request them at registration, then yes - we’ll do our best to get them in the same room. However, if they don’t make it in the same room, the majority of time the boys are awake, they are out of their rooms with other campers. So we wouldn’t stress much about this.

  • We recognize that these kids are your most prized possessions. The health and safety of our campers is of utmost importance to us. Our counselors are handpicked and go through significant training each year on how to best care for your kids. We keep watch over hydration, sunscreen, nutrition and more. We also have a licensed medic on site to manage any health or medical emergencies.

  • Most likely not! You have time to prep them for it, though. Send them away to the grandparents or some friends for a night or two. We keep the campers very busy, and typically the parents miss their kids much more than the kids miss their parents :)
